We source our black oak from local, sustainable woodlots within a hundred miles of our bench. This regional connection ensures we select only stable, character-rich timber that thrives in our local climate.
By milling and drying our own timber, we control the moisture content from forest to installation. We never use cheap veneers where solid, structural timber belongs, preserving the natural grain-matched beauty of the wood.

Every cabinet face is cut from consecutive planks of a single log, ensuring the natural timber pattern flows uninterrupted across drawers and doors.
We rely on traditional mortise-and-tenon joints and blind dovetails. No metal brackets, no temporary fasteners, and absolutely no particle board.
We measure and scribe every installation directly to your walls, compensating for settled floors and historic plaster to guarantee a seamless fit.
